The hotel, which is one of the oldest in Umbria (1895), has been completely restored, strictly respecting the building’s
original architecture. It is located in a small square in the historic center of the hospitable age-old Umbrian city, in a seventeenth-century palace that
was once the monastery of the church of St. Francis, which is located nearby.
The rooms are enriched by a small collection of paintings by Alberto Burri, one of the most important masters of contemporary art and a native of
Città di Castello. There is a collection of his museum works in "Palazzo degli Albizzini", just a short distance from the hotel.
